Two PhD student positions in computer science with focus on “internet of things and people” have been announced. Both positions concern participation in projects of the Internet of Things and People research center in collaboration with a number of industrial partners.
Last date for applications is December 11, 2016.
» The first position is within embedded intelligence and interaction technology, and relates to data mining, adaptive and learning systems, with a particular focus on context-awareness to create engaging user experiences and meaningful designs. The research will be carried out in application areas that are of interest for the industrial partners, e.g. user-activity and self-tracking services. The purpose of these applications range from entertainment and well-being, to convenience and utility.
» The second position concerns mainly research in the area of embedded intelligence, in particular distributed artificial intelligence, adaptive and learning systems, and sensor data processing. The research will be carried out in application areas that are of interest for the industrial partners, such as, transportation and building surveillance and automation.
