Exploring how to use heterogeneous sensor data to create services in the built environment
This project is about how to best support services which need information about the current state of an environment including people. The main challenge concerns how to make use of heterogeneous sensor data which may vary over time since sensors may appear and disappear. In order to support services, including the implementation of new services, the project also addresses challenges of how to support smart configuration, information security, energy efficiency, the use of mobile devices, and user interaction. The project intends to explore Machine Learning and enhance the previously introduced concept of Dynamic Intelligent Virtual Sensor in different use cases.
